Feel like at home
Our residents live in manageable living groups on three floors. On each floor there is a large eat-in kitchen, each with its own balcony, as well as many lounges with idyllic views of the Siebengebirge or the Volcanic Eifel. The terrace of the cafeteria or the lovingly designed garden with its green area invite you to spend time outdoors.
Our residents' rooms are designed to be suitable for seniors and disabled persons, so that a barrier-free everyday life is guaranteed.
Each resident room is equipped with a bathroom with toilet, washbasin and floor-level shower.
The basic equipment includes height-adjustable electric nursing beds, a bedside table, a table , two chairs, and a closet with a lockable inner compartment.
We want our residents to feel at home, so they can furnish their rooms individually. If desired, residents can bring their own small pieces of furniture. Alternatively, furniture suitable for senior citizens is available from the house.
In addition to the furniture, the following furnishings are part of the basic equipment:
- Lighting
- Connections: Radio, TV, Internet (WLAN)
- Emergency call system
- Telephone connection

The GFO Center Königswinter - Living & Care St. Katharina has 75 employees in a multi-professional team. The team ensures the smooth cooperation of all work areas within our home.

Quality management at our GFO Zentrum Wohnen & Pflege St. Katharina means that our structures, processes and concepts ensure that we provide the best possible services. This also means that we constantly put our services to the test, in an effort to both continuously develop ourselves further and to be able to withstand external reviews at any time.

Our residents may have various wishes as well as health impairments that require a wide range of services. In addition to our services, we would like to offer and arrange services for our residents, which we therefore offer in cooperation.
The GFO Center Königswinter - Wohnen & Pflege St. Katharina maintains many external partnerships and is constantly seeking new contacts.
The cooperation and cultivation of contacts with the parishes, the city of Königswinter, local associations and other groups are of great importance.
